1. Cracks That Keep Getting Wider
If that crack was a quarter-inch last spring and it’s half an inch now, you’ve got a problem that’s actively getting worse.
2. Uneven or Sunken Slabs
This is really common in East Texas because of our clay soil.
3. Water Pooling Where It Shouldn’t
Standing water accelerates concrete deterioration and creates slip hazards.
4. Spalling and Surface Flaking
It means moisture has gotten into the concrete and is breaking it apart from the inside.
5. Expansion Joint Failures
When the sealant dries out, water and debris get in and start causing damage underneath.
